Evening in Trastevere

May 28, 2017 Deb Schwedhelm

Today ended up being a working day for me. I'm teaching an online workshop right now and today was one of those busy days. It was okay though because we typically do just the morning out because midday is just so hot, so I decided I would work during the day and then we would venture out to Trastevere in the evening. BUT THEN evening came and I was feeling very lazy! I ended up pushing us out, to explore Trastevere, which ended up being a street art hunt and happening upon a pyramid from 18 BC (yes, an actual pyramid in the middle of Rome...crazy). It was a very late 21:30 dinner for us and bed at 23:00. Another day of random exploring and lots of walking. Kids were troopers. I was in street art heaven.
